About Mike

Mike Clark has deep roots in Ward 5 and a genuine commitment to the people who call it home. He knows its neighborhoods — its character, its challenges, and what it takes to move Eugene forward.

After coming to Eugene in 1983 to attend the University of Oregon, Mike made Eugene his home.  He got married here, grew a small business here, and raised a family here.  Mike got involved as a volunteer for local service clubs and served on the boards of several local non-profit organizations to give back to his community.  After two years on the city budget committee, Mike was elected to represent the people of Ward 5 and has served proudly ever since.  Mike is an effective voice and advocate for the people of ward 5 because he understands that they need practical, pragmatic solutions to the issues that face our city.
